Holiday Celebrations

The JCOB comes together several times a year as a community to celebrate the holidays.

  • High Holiday Services include Rosh Hashanah (day service and Tashlich) and Yom Kippur (Kol Nidre, day service with Yizkor, and a Break-the-Fast).
  • We will host a 2nd night community Passover Seder at Mako Mike's on Saturday, March 31st at 6pm.  Call 255-1866 for more information.
  • We remember Yom Hashoah with a one hour interfaith service that includes a Reading of Names. This year we are planning on having our Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 10th at 6:30pm at the UUCOB.  We will again have the winning high school essays read by the student authors.
  • We have a group Menorah lighting on Hanukkah.
